Based on the South side of the street opposite Fortnums & Mason it had that wonderful air of a 1930's gentleman's club and a cockail menu to match. Sadly like so many of these great bastions it closed it's doors to the batchelors and playboys of London over ten years ago however for those of us who miss it I thought I would remind you of the "House Cocktail" know as a Jules Reviver.

• INGREDIENTS
  • 1/2 measure of pimms No 1 Cup
  • 1/2 measure of Grand Marnier
  • 1 morechino cherry on a cocktail stick with a segment of orange
  • Topped up with champagne
