Now whilst you can buy chilli oil in most supermarkets, it is usually pink in colour and tame in taste so I have always made my own which is remarkably simple.
- INGREDIENTS
- One bottle of olive oil (3/4 full)
- A bowl of dried whole Tabasco chillis
- White peppercorns
- Red peppercorns
- 2 Dried bayleaves
Simply put the ingredients into the bottle of oil, replace the cap, give it a good shake and leave it until you need it next.
